Job description:NCTA seeks a well-organized, energetic and creative candidate to serve as Director of Digital Integration & Design who will be responsible for day-to-day management essentially ownership of the associations online platforms so they support the strategic and tactical goals of NCTA. The Director will be responsible for working across all NCTA functions to ensure the online platforms are constantly refreshed, a valuable resource to the association and explore new ways to connect with outside audiences.Key responsibilities: Implement a robust online content management strategy based on association goals, existing technology, and communication strategies and trends. Direct management of www.ncta.com and works across functions to bring uniformity and integration with other platforms, including Cable Show, Cable in the Classroom and others. Manages internal stakeholders to ensure web platforms are consistently refreshed, current and relevant. Ensures NCTA information, documentation, and communication tools. Develops creative approaches to help NCTA utilize its online properties for external communication. Coordinates online strategy with NCTA departments and manages internal resources to communicate information online that achieves NCTAs mission in serving its members and the goals of the association. Proposes creative solutions and ideas for display of new website content and other site design elements. Writes, reviews, revises, and refreshes Web pages as needed. Provides graphic design support for projects within communications and other departments that require basic professional expertise. Provides guidance for annual budget.Requirements: A Bachelors Degree and at least five years professional experience in web management, information technologies, electronic publishing, graphic design or a related field A track record of maintaining successful web properties in fast moving organizations. An energetic self-starter with strong self-management skills, a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, possess superior writing skills, extremely detail oriented, and effective in managing multiple internal constituencies. Exhibit collaborative skills, perform well under pressure, manage multiple constituencies and demands. Ability to manage complex projects across many functions with tight deadlines is important. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash, digital imaging, web video and other web content technologies. General understanding of content management systems, server-side frameworks and databases.
