Sharepoint Administrator

**BECAUSE THIS POSITION IS IN SUPPORT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, POTENTIAL CANDIDATE MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN A DHS CLEARANCE**

TEKsystems has partnered with a government integrator to identify a SharePoint Administrator for a position in Washington DC.

Qualified candidate will be responsible for engineering and operations of multiple production and pre-production SharePoint 2007 and 2010 farms. Candidate will be required to engineer SharePoint and integrated infrastructure solutions based on complex technical requirements from development teams. Must have excellent technical skills, with strong knowledge of current technologies, and must continually learn emerging technologies.

Must Haves:

- 10+ years of progressive Systems Administration experience

- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex enterprise level SharePoint systems issues and outages.

- Demonstrated experience with SharePoint farm-level systems administration, including the deployment of solution files, SSP configuration and maintenance, and web application and site collection creation and maintenance.

- Experience in enterprise-level Windows OS, server builds, and infrastructure, including domain controllers, AD, OUs, DNS, Kerberos, VLANs, networking, firewalls, etc.

- Configuring and supporting IIS.

- Managing and troubleshoot SSPs, Search Service, Forms Services, Excel Services.

- Experience applying cumulative updates, service packs, hot fixes, etc.

- Able to review custom SharePoint application design documentation, perform code reviews, and provide recommendations to development teams and management based on Microsoft Architecture and Infrastructure Best Practices.
