Network Specialist (Senior)

TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Senior Network Specialist with Top Secret Clearance for one of our clients in Washington, D.C.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (SNE) to support one of their clients government customers. The SNE must have significant experience addressing and resolving a wide range of networking issues related to firewall, router, switch, load balancer, and inter-host communications. This includes firewall and switch management; network troubleshooting and monitoring; database creation and management; and diagram creation using Visio.

Skills:

Capability to successfully implement multi-protocol networks, to include: communication links for voice, video and data, servers, email systems and associated peripheral devices and gateways including Internet connectivity is required.

Provide technical oversight in the installation, configuration, integration and maintenance of networks.

Perform all aspects of network support, monitoring and maintenance, to include: operating systems, remote access procedures, communications linkages and Internet-working architectures are also a must.

Facilitate and lead technical and non-technical discussions with both technical and non-technical government managers, and may be the sole technical expert in network engineering.

Compile and maintain documentation, provide technical review of projects plans, lead technical projects, work with staff and vendors to gather requirements, scope technical efforts, and design and implement solutions.

Demonstrated expertise in networking technologies, wireless, mobile, handheld device technologies, (i.e., Blackberries, Personal Digital Assistants), Cisco and Raven equipment, Citrix, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Linux and Windows operating system administration.

Communication Security (COMSEC) technologies.

Cryptography devices

Windows Servers

Windows Mobile/CE

Terminal Servers Exchange

Active Directory (AD)

Oracle

Internet Small Computer System Interface Storage Area Network (iSCSI SAN).

Enterprise Network Attaches Storage/Direct Attached Storage (NAS/DAS) devices.

BIG IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM)

Education and Work Experience:

ISCO Certified Private Internet Exchange/Adaptive Security Appliance (PIX/ASA).

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).

Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).

F5 Certified Product Consultant in LTM
