The C5I unit has over 400 employees and some of our key customers include the US Air Force Space Command, US Strategic Command, North American Aerospace Defense Command, US Northern Command, Pentagon, Department of Energy, State Department, Department of Homeland Security, and other Department of Defense, Federal and State agencies and commercial customers.Provide expertise and direction in the development or modification of complete software programs to enhance an operating system. Responsible for the instruction, assigning, and overseeing the performance of less experienced software systems engineers. Coordinate the activities of the software engineering department with other sections of the corporations information syst ems operation. A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and seven to nine years of relevant work experienceare required. The Microsoft Engineer will be responsible for recommending, designing and deploying Microsoft and VMware-based solutions in a 3,000+ node federal government environment. Responsibilities also include recommending and designing enterprise level solutions, defining and documenting system topologies and configurations, creating project plansfor technology deployment, and implementing technology solutions in production. Third level support of server and other enterprise-level issues is also required. Our engineer will support technologies includingbut not limited to:• Blackberry Enterprise Software• Server monitoring with NetIQ AppManager• Microsoft Windo ws 2003 and 2008 Operating Systems with Active Directory• Microsoft Exchange 2 003/2007/2010• E-Mail Calendars and Scheduling, as well as file sharing applications• VMWarevirtual Infrastructure (vSphere 4.x)A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and seven to nine years of relevant work experience are required. Work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Job assignments may require working at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required.
