KFC Franchisee with 16 locations in the Baltimore MD/Washington DC metro area is hiring for the Restaurant General Manager position.

The Restaurant General Manager has the overall responsibility for the following:

 

• Directs the daily operations of a restaurant, through effective sales forecasting, labor scheduling, food ordering, and developing the restaurant team.
• Ensures that the highest quality products and 100%+ customer satisfaction is delivered.
• Ensures compliance with Company and Franchisor standards in all areas of operations including product preparation and delivery to the customer.
• Recruits, interviews, hires, trains and develops hourly team members and shift supervisors.
• Controls profit and loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensures OSHA, local health and safety codes and Company safety and security policies are met.
• Coordinates any necessary maintenance and repair of the restaurant facility.
• Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs.
• Champions motivation and recognition efforts within their restaurant.
• Other duties as required or assigned by their Area Coach.

 RequirementsTo be successful, a candidate must meet the following requirements

 

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Completion of background check and drug test
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good communication and strong interpersonal conflict skills
• Basic business math and accounting skills
• 2 years supervisory experience in a quick service restaurant or other hospitality industry.
• KFC, Taco Bell,  or YUM Brands restaurant experience preferred.
