Real Estate/Syndication Paralegal

Experienced paralegal sought for fast-paced, exciting work environment. This position participates as a team member in our Syndication Practice Group for real estate and financing transactions.



Location

Washington, D.C.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate or appropriate job-related experience required.

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a real estate paralegal.

Knowledge of government assistance programs, partnerships, limited liability companies, tax credits or syndications a plus.

Title and Survey experience.

Excellent, organizational, communication, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Exceptional drafting, proof-reading and communication skills, with using computer assisted legal resources.

Ability to work independently, plan and take initiative to accomplish objectives in a timely manner with minimum supervision.

Must be a team player while effectively and efficiently use firm resources.


Responsibilities

Prepare, draft and negotiate a series of commercial investments.

Perform due diligence, coordinate and implement transactions and closings.

Organize and maintain case materials using legal document management systems.

Conduct research and gather information using general and legal research tools.

Other responsibilities as client needs dictate
