Position Description:
The Corporate Account Manager will build & manage corporate membership sales revenue through the development and growth of new corporate sales and increase in memberships with existing corporate accounts. This is an entry-level position.
Major Responsibilities:
Learns how to develop corporate membership accounts through the generation and close of new sales.
Begins the process of developing leads by:
oActive prospecting through outside sales efforts, networking and client development research;
oMaintaining cold call quotas;
oMaintaining follow-up call quotas; and
oMaintaining face-to-face appointment quotas.
Work with a mentor to increase membership sales and growth of accounts by creating, implementing and managing all corporate membership promotions with new and existing accounts.
Assist in the managing of all on-site membership enrollments.
Developing positive, active, ongoing relations and communications with corporate liaisons.
Helps schedule all membership promotions, health fairs and on-site activities for new and existing corporate accounts
Faxing and/or emailing corporate membership paperwork, trial passes, promotion materials and any additional communication to new and current members.
Starts the process of developing client relationships through the use of consistent follow-up phone calls, thank you notes, program updates and timely membership promotions.
Learns how to do on-site fitness programs for new and existing corporate clientele.
Understands the monthly sales quotas per revenue type goals and the methods used to accomplish these targets.
Performs any related duties as assigned.
Assists in the development of plans and policies related to the Corporate Sales Department.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent 2 years of related experience.
Basic computer knowledge, including all Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Has basic knowledge and understanding of the principles of fitness, wellness and gym operations, community relations, demonstration, organization structure, and business relations, as they relate to corporate gym memberships.
Ability to demonstrate effective communication techniques and sales strategies with each corporate customer.
Has the ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups and individuals.
Ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources, analyze information, and recommend courses of action to be taken.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
