Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a General Manager 4 at Knollwood Retirement Community. This 280- bedprovides independent living, assisted living and skilled healthcare services to military veterans and their families in Washington , DC
The selected individual will be responsible for Leveraging Sodexo Systems, Financial Outcomes, and Patient/Resident Satisfaction for one site. The best qualified candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering systems, tools and resources and will be responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all operations-related activities through subordinate Managers. This includes financial performance, client retention, and a robust Sodexo retail program. Strong project planning and communication skills and previous experience managing in a union environment are a must as well as superior leadership abilities to be able to manage a diverse team. The selected individual will provide strategic leadership while driving tactical initiatives to exceed patient and client expectations. This position is responsible for ensuring that all planning, organizing and implementation activities fully support the Sodexo Brand. They will work closely with the client and the District Manager in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Strong client relations and interpersonal skills are essential. Must have the ability to drive and motivate team to excellence to developing the strategies in providing solutions to our customers. Bilingual in Spanish and experience or training in Kosher food preparation preferred.

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Basic Education Requirement - Associates Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
