Senior Director, Digital StrategyThis HireStrategy client is currently seeking a Senior Director, Digital Strategy. This individual must be creative, strategic, energetic, and passionate about assuming a pivotal role in a global organization dedicated to creating life-changing experiences for young people. This person reports to the Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CMO in promoting a strong brand through digital channels.
- Own digital marketing strategy and execution worldwide and across all channels, from website to social and online media advertising, to strengthen the brand and to meet impact and growth goals.
- Plan, develop and execute integrated, digital programs and campaigns across multiple digital platforms to deliver measurable results.
- Analyze and interpret key metrics/reports, recommend corrective action and ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.
- Advance thought leadership around digital strategies through social media engagement with customers, alumni, influencers, and others.
- Collaborate with the Resource Development team, assuming leadership of digital strategy and deliverables associated with donor proposals.
- Grow revenue streams by developing digital strategies and execution for fundraising and partner development, individual giving, and e-commerce, Conference Center, and digital platforms.
- Serve as a functional expert, with an enterprise focus, within the Marketing and Communications Group.
- Manage activities of external agencies and technology partners.
- Build and engage a productive and high-performing team.
- Manage the performance of an SEO strategy and team, which includes solidifying and ensuring consistency in the positioning and messaging of all digital products.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with Creative Services, Production, Editorial, Research, Customer Relations, Development and other teams.
Job Requirements
- Innovative thinker, capable of operating both in a strategic and hands-on capacity.
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree accepted with 5-8 years of interactive/digital marketing experience
- History of excellence in branding and driving traffic through online media.
- Track record of revenue generation through digital channels and campaigns.
- Understanding of emerging online marketing technologies, applications, and vendors.
- Proven project management experience; superb attention to execution details.
- Strong understanding of web metrics and SEO/SEM strategy.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and monitoring suite suppliers.
