The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides adult nursing care before and after medical procedures, which may vary greatly in the daily case load; the healthcare setting for this R.N. travel nurse job may vary as well. Med Surg travel nurses work, in hospitals, out-patient clinics, specialty surgery centers, home health and long-term care facilities. Among medical-surgical RN responsibilities are daily assessments and post surgical assessments on patients and their wounds, this will include would care as well as post surgical care.
