This customer-facing position is accountable for creating fortified information technology environments that facilitate our U.S. Government customers to meet mission requirements. Working as part of dedicated sales team youll lead the specification and adaptation of a broad range of Schneider Electric products/solutions/services. This position is responsible for the breadth of the technical sales cycle - building customer and influencer relationships, demand creation, solution design and implementation and ongoing management of technical requirements.Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in data center design and project management specializing in electrical, mechanical and management/security systems from the service entrance to the computing floor. Prior customer-facing sales experience is required, preferably calling on Federal Government and DoD customers. Familiarity with government contracting, procurement vehicles and data center services such as commissioning and facility operation is desired.
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; will also consider a multi-disciplined background with power or mechanical systems experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role with a history of sales success.
- Professional Engineer certification a plus
- Current or former security Clearance a plus
- Excellent communication skills; English essential; ability to communicate with multi-cultural global teams
- Domestic travel as needed to support the business
