Database Administrator II Job at Washington

Yoh has a three (3) plus month opportunity for a Database Administrator II to join our client in Washington, DC.

Possession of or the ability to obtain a government clearance is required as a condition for employment.

Job Responsibilities: - The Oracle DBA will be the primary support person for an on-line transaction processing production environment which caters to 100+ users working on a financial application built on Oracle Forms and Reports.

Job Qualifications: - Minimum of an Associates Degree- The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience managing Oracle Database with minimal supervision- In-depth knowledge of Oracle 11g Database and Oracle Weblogic Application Server 11g in an OLTP Production environment.- In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL and support experience of Oracle Forms and Reports 11g.- Ability to work as a team with UNIX and Windows system administrators to resolve Oracle related issues.- Performance tuning and Backup and recovery skills in Oracle 11g Database.

Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Knowledge: - At least three (3) years of Oracle Database Administration experience is preferred.- Experience working with TOAD and Oracle Enterprise Manager is preferred.
