Patient Care Coordinator at Washington

Job Description

VIP practice located near GW Hospital seeks Patient Care Coordinator.  This individual will be responsible for checking out patients, collecting fees due via credit card or check, depositing monies using remote access terminal, balancing daily report.  She or he will also schedule tests, procedures, and next appointments as necessary. 

On non patient days, this individual will assist the administrator in the management of the practice by printing and analyzing various practice management reports using Green way Electronic Health Records. 

This VIP practice serves a unique population.  They do not participate in any insurnace plans except Medicare on a very limited basis.  Patients that come to this practice value preventive medicine and take an active role in managing their heatlh through diet, exercise, and a healthy life style. 

Job Requirements

  • College degree or college level coursework a plus.  High school diploma a must. 
  • Two or more years experience in a group medical practice.
  • Good job stability of at least two years in each job preferred.
  • Excellent references.
  • Candidates must pass a local and nationwide background check with no criminal history.
  • Candidates must not have credit problems as verified by a credit bureau report for employment purposes.

 

 

 

Compensation and benefits are generous:
  • Salary:  $37,440 - 41,600 per year with review and possible raise in six months.
  • Health insurance:  100% of premium paid for the employee only. 
  • Metro allowance
  • Three weeks vacation the first two years.
  • Four weeks vacation year 3 and beyond.
  • Participation in retirement plan with employer contribution.
