Classification: Accountant - Senior

Compensation: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year

Our client is a well known non-profit and has fantastic benefits! They are looking for a Senior Accountant for their staff and the main duties include:Senior Accountant duties: Prepare supporting account schedules including for investments, fund revenues and cost allocations for their various funds. Coordinate with various departments to ensure endowments are correctly accounted for. Record complex investment activity and work with the outside brokers to ensure that statements are reconciled correctly. Assist with financial reporting to make sure new agreements are evaluated in accordance with specific exempt GAAP requirements. Preparation of journal entries over a number of areas and also related account reconcilliations and analytics. Job Requirements

BS in Accounting CPA a plusPrior experience in public accounting is a big plus2+ years of relevant experience including within the non-profit sector
