Operation Manager is responsible for managing the day to day execution of the Georgetown catering operation and staff. This individual oversees client functions to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be passionate about event planning/management and committed to educating themselves and their team on current food & beverage trends.

  • Overseeing a team of drivers, which entails setting their schedules, assigning events and ensuring a successful daily operation.
  • Requisitioning and monitoring temp labor on a daily basis
  • Ordering Food & Beverage according to needs
  • Inventory entry and analysis
  • Meeting with clients at events to ensure their satisfaction
  • Forecasting needs for weeks/months in advance
  • Planning the logistics of a busy off and on premise catering company

  • Tips/Serve Safe Certification
  • Flexibility in schedule -- some nights, some weekends -- depending on business.
  • Ability to forecast operational needs, including but not limited to alcohol, beverage, food etc., based off of future business.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Bachelors Degree and/or 5 years F&B management experience in DC metro area, hotel management a plus
  • Attention to detail -- ability and initiative to look ahead and plan.
  • Strong communication skills
