Job Classification: Contract TEKsystems is searching for a group of qualified Migration Technicians to support a Windows XP to Windows 7 project in Washington D.C supporting the EPA.Day and Night shift available.Must be able to work independently, must know when to escalate problems with deployment not resolved at a Tier II level. Possess a wide-range of knowledge of Tech Refresh models and ability to perform a Tech Refresh (new workstation) or an Upgrade to Windows 7 from XP from conception to completion using Microsofts MDT process under the direction of an Engineer or Team Lead.2-4+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) Desktop Support for MS Operating Systems and MS Office applications or Desk Top Support; or Associates Degree in a technical field of study with 2-3 years of experience in IT Must have worked with several software applications such as: Lotus Notes, MS Office, printer drivers, Office 365 Excellent communication and customer service skillsPrefer A+, Network +, Microsoft Certifications Join TEKsystems and get your career on the fast track.
