Video Security Sales Engineer at Washington

Our client is well established in the security systems industry and  is seeking a Sales Engineer to support  the DC Metro area video security sales  team. 

Responsibilities will be to work with the customer to assess their needs for video security systems and  recommend security systems and solutions including video cameras and equipment.  You will work with CAD drawings to detail camera locations, cable runs, and equipment connections.  You will provide a price quotation for the client based on the materials needed.  Other responsibilities include assisting and advising the installation team after the sale is completed to ensure that the work meets the design objectives. 

Requires 2+ years experience with some of the following:  video security systems, video camera systems, CCTV,  video recording systems, DVRs and /or low voltage cable systems.  Since you will be meeting with customers, excellent communication skills and ability to interact and develop rapport with customers are important.  Local travel in the DC metro area with limited travel (20%) outside the area.  Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word) is required.   Degree strongly preferred. 

This is a permanent position with our client.  Local DC Metro area travel.
