We have an immediate opening for an experienced and dedicated part-time Medical Assistant to join the Clinical Support team at our Washington, DC office located on the campus of Sibley Hospital. This is a part-time position working Monday - Friday from 6:45 am until approximately 12 pm.

Responsibilities include heavy phlebotomy, maintains supplies for the blood drawing stations, adhere to OSHA guidelines, ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs, document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records, utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels, perform semen washes and sets up for IUIs, assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedure, takes vital signs, provide high level of customer service to each patient and general clinical assistance.

Job Requirements

Medical Assistant Skills / Requirements :

Phlebotomy experience and strong phlebotomy skills are required. Background in womens health and fertility / IVF experience preferred. Successful candidates will possess a strong patient orientation and be a team player. Professionalism and strong customer service skills a must!
