Supervising Mechanical Engineer at Washington

We currently have a need for a Supervising Mechanical Engineer for ourDC office located in Fairfax, VA

The ideal candidate will have Government and Federal design experience..

Responsible for supervising detailed design, calculations and coordination internally and externally. Also responsible for supervising and leading an engineering team from the beginning to the end of a project.

You will represent the Firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects and other project team members. Design large projects, prepare reports and specifications, and provide a very high level of technical leadership.

Qualified candidate will possess a current Mechanical Engineering PE registration with 10+ years experience in the MEP consulting community.

 Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of (10) years experience working in a consulting engineering firm.
• Current PE (P.E.) registration as a Mechanical Engineer. LEED accreditation highly preferred, as well.
• LatestAutoCAD experience required, with REVIT experience a huge plus

This is a Senior Engineers role that requires a background in the MEP Engineering Industry. Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT experience required, as you will have a very strong technical role.
